Dr. Brittany Marvel is a licensed veterinarian serving the College Station community.
Dr. Marvel graduated from Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine. She is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association and the Texas Veterinary Medical Association. She grew up in the Dallas/Fort Worth area and attended Pepperdine University in Malibu, California for her bachelor’s degree. While at Pepperdine, she met her husband, Luke. Luke is an entrepreneur specializing in real estate investment and property management in the College Station/Bryan community. The Marvel's have 4 dogs: a snarky Beagle and 3 unruly Brittany Spaniels (Google, Emma, Teddy, and Bear)! This winter the Marvel’s are expecting their first child – a baby girl!
Professionally, Dr. Marvel has done it all! Right out of school, she worked at day practice in The Woodlands, Texas. This is where she learned she loves building a tight bond with her clients and their pets. She also gained an enormous amount of experience as the Medical Shelter Veterinarian for Montgomery County Animal Shelter. There she provided tender loving care to over 800 in- house animals and many foster animals. Treating minor illnesses with limited diagnostics and a fixed budget became second nature. She became certified in Veterinary Acupuncture during this time as well!
After working multiple vaccination clinics in the Houston area and seeing the growing need in College Station/Bryan, Dr. Marvel started her own Low Cost Vaccination clinics close to home. The clinics have flourished and Dr. Marvel truly enjoys providing reasonably priced routine health care for the community. Dr. Marvel just can’t get enough; she also works as an Emergency Veterinarian in the Houston area. She’s treated everything including major traumas that require surgery, snake bites, urinary tract obstructions, proptosed eyes… and the list goes on and on… Due to growing requests, Dr. Marvel started offering house calls to her clients in the BCS area. She loves being able to visit with a pet in their own environment (especially when they think she’s just a friend there to give them attention!) This also allows Dr. Marvel to create a closer bond with her clients that only a house call would allow. Dr. Marvel and her team look forward to meeting you and your best friend(s). We truly would love to partner with you for their healthcare needs (sick or healthy)!

Unlike her co-workers, Lisa has no intention of pursuing a career in animal medicine. Instead, after she obtains her Bachelors degree in English in December of 2015, she plans to teach high school English. Lisa will be receiving her 200 yoga teacher training certification in the fall and has hopes to teach and practice yoga for the rest of her life. She has a deep passion for all animals (especially her two dogs) and loves to be involved in the community. She is also a member of a local organization called InterACT, which focuses on the communication techniques between animals and humans. We're lucky to have a animal lover receptionist like Lisa!
